Draft review

Tom Haudricourt mentions that Baseball America has a recap of the 2010 Milwaukee Brewers draft.  However, that BA part is behind the subscriber wall.  So..

BA notes the offensive prowess displayed by first baseman Cody Hawn, a
sixth-rounder out of Tennessee, with the rookie club in Helena and
cites him for “Best Pro Debut.”

Another college first baseman Hunter
Morris, a fourth rounder out of Auburn, is mentioned.

On the defensive side, ninth-rounder Yadiel Rivera, a prep shortstop out of Puerto Rico, gets mention.

BA notes that third-rounder Tyler Thornburg could move fast because
of his electric fastball. And fifth-rounder Matt Miller, a right-hander
out of Michigan, is mentioned for his strong showing at Helena.

I think that most of the players mentioned have a good shot at being Timber Rattlers sometime in 2011.
