The Timber Rattlers rocked the Rockford Cubbies 17-8 at Fox Cities Stadium on May 6, 1996.
Luis Tinoco was 3-for-3 with three runs scored.
Scott Smith went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and four RBI.
David Ortiz (Arias) hit 9th? and went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBI.
Tinoco, Smith, and Ortiz also hit home runs in that game. Tinoco hit his second, Smith hit his fourth, and it was the seventh of the season for Ortiz.
The Timber Rattlers scored five runs in the first inning. But, Rockford scored five in the third. The Rattlers got single runs in the third and fourth before blowing the game wide open with six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Brent Iddon picked up the win in relief to move his record to 4-1.
