A Study in Asymmetry
If you look up Asymmetry in Roget’s Thesaurus, you should see the a picture of the outfield fence of Oldsmobile Park, er, Cooley Law School Stadium.
But, since Roget stopped taking my emails, texts, and phone calls to accept my idea to do just that…The slideshow below should demonstrate asymmetry:
After I took these photos, I realized that I forgot to get a picture that looks down the right field line into the corner. I will attempt to get that shot tomorrow.
Remember, the Rattlers are in action Wednesday. Wisconsin is at Lansing to start game one of the series with the Lugnuts is 11:05am, CDT.
For your actual baseball content, the scheduled starting pitchers in this series:
WED: RHP Matt Miller (3-4, 4.76) v. LHP Sean Nolin (2-2, 3.60)
THU: RHP Maverick Lasker (1-2, 4.76) v. RHP Andrew Liebel (1-0, 1.50)
FRI: RHP Jimmy Nelson (4-7, 4.36) v. LHP Egan Smith (4-3, 3.71)

Chris:
Yup: 412 to the scoreboard corner. See here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mwlguide/164687251/in/set-72157594162151734
Shorter straightaway–I think 402 over the gate. 305 down the lines, racing out to 330 in left and 337 in right. Surprisingly difficult angles to play, on the evidence.
(I’ll be wandering around the place, taking pix, tomorrow….)
