Lineup and Game Notes – April 4, 2013

Welcome to the start of the 2013 season of Timber Rattlers baseball!

The Timber Rattlers open this year on road with a game against the Peoria Chiefs.  Game time is 6:30pm.  The pregame show on the radio begins at 6:10pm.

It’s going to be a great night for baseball!

You may tune in for the broadcast a few different ways:

In the listening area, dial around to AM1280, WNAM.  This is one of the internet links to listen to the game.   WNAM is also available on IHeartRadio as a website and as an app for your smart phone.

I am still working on the logistics of the This Date in Timber Rattlers history post.  So, this seems like a good spot to fit it in until that gets done.

APRIL 4 – The Timber Rattlers have played just three games on April 4 in their history.

1997 – The Rattlers lose 1-0 on Opening Day at West Michigan.
2002 – The Rattlers win 3-1 on Opening Day at Beloit.
2003 – The Rattlers had their second straight home game with Beloit postponed by snow.
2008 – The Rattlers lose 4-3 at Quad Cities in a delayed Opening Day.  Nathan Adcock was the starting pitcher for the Timber Rattlers and allowed two unearned runs over five innings, but Quad Cities came back for the win.
