Jerseys of the Rattlers – Brewers Sunday (2009)
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have worn many jerseys since 1995. There have been throwbacks, pinks, camouflage, batting practice, sleeveless, the regular ones that were worn for most games, and a few that you may have forgotten. This feature is to take a look at those jerseys.
In the fall of 2008, the Timber Rattlers became an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. The Rattlers announced Brewers Sunday as part of that new partnership. The team would wear the Timber Rattlers jerseys based on those of their new parent club. They have all turned out pretty cool.
For the next few weeks, this series will look at the Brewers Sunday jerseys of the Rattlers. The Timber Rattlers will have a Brewers Sunday again in 2014 and will announce the Jerseys soon. I’ve seen the design. It will be awesome.
The jerseys from the 2009 season are up first.
The first Brewers Sunday jerseys were based on the BP tops of the Brewers. The best example on the web of those Brewers jerseys is Frank Catalanotto’s…which was up for auction last June. Let’s see how close the Rattlers got to that look.

Here’s Michael Vass after a swing.
Liam Ohlmann on the mound and showing off the patch.
Fang gets into the action. The numbers on the back are the type that broadcasters love. Big! Bright! Readable!
Here’s Josh Prince from later in the season.
He was a shortstop at the time.
A much better look at the small “Timber” on the upper right chest. Michael Marseco showing off the colors.
There is yet to be a definitive look at the entire front of the jersey. Who will come through for us and make sure you see it in all it’s glory? I know…Brock Kjeldgaard will.
