Jerseys of the Rattlers – Brewers Sunday (2012)

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have worn many jerseys since 1995. There have been throwbacks, pinks, camouflage, batting practice, sleeveless, the regular ones that were worn for most games, and a few that you may have forgotten. This feature is to take a look at those jerseys.

This week, the Brewers Sunday jerseys of 2012.

These weren’t based on a past Brewers uniform.  The 2012 version were based on the Brewers Batting Practice Jerseys at the time.  They still look really sharp.

The photo above and the photo below show off the front of the jersey.  As opposed to the 2010 & 2011 Brewers Sunday jerseys, the 2012 Jerseys used the Timber Rattlers regular font instead of using the Brewers lettering.

You can get a little better look at the “Timber” in the following picture.

This is my favorite photo of the team in their Brewers Sunday jerseys from 2012.  Yadiel Rivera is greeted at home plate after his walkoff homer against Beloit that put the Rattlers in position to clinch a first half playoff spot.

Here’s another photo that shows the gold band on the left side of the jersey.

The gold band on the side is good.

The dark navy blue socks fit in well with this photo.  There’s something about this photo that is a bit off.  I’ll come back to it later, but see if you notice it, too.

This is a pretty good picture for two reasons.  The first is the Brewers Sunday hats.  It’s the alternate logo on a dark hat and I like them.  The second reason this is a pretty good picture is the sad Kane County catcher starting to walk away from the impending celebration.

Look out, Max!

Here’s a better look at the hats as modeled by Adrian Williams and Yadiel Rivera.  Yadi is also showing off the Brewers “M” patch on the left sleeve.

Okay, this photo is a good time to circle back to the thing I asked you to notice in the Max Walla photo earlier in the post.  Take a look at Rivera Notice it?

It should be obvious in this Brandon Macias photo. The helmet has the Brewers “M” logo. Not the Timber Rattlers “TR” Logo.

One last look at the Rattlers in Miller Park from 2012.

Let’s take a look at some of the Auction winners.  The 2012 Live Auction had to be held in the Leinie Lodge.  A rather intense downpour started right after the game.  And by intense, I mean biblical.   But, everyone who went home with a jersey was pretty happy about it.  You will also notice that the 2012 Brewers Sunday Jersey Auction was not the first jersey auction won by some of the fans.
