I am still without a videographer. However, JP Cadorin of Sports32 was at the stadium on Wednesday to work on a story for next week’s show. Check your local listings!
For now….Photographs! (Click for larger version)
Lots, lots more after the break!
The good news: I got up on the second level of Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium for this week’s update.
The bad news: This week’s Renovation Update is not a video update.
Our camera operator/director/editor/sound technician/talent relations coordinator/YouTube Video putter-upper left us to take another job with another team right after Christmas.
So, you get….MORE PICTURES from a semi-competent photographer.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
The post to ring in 2013 is about the progress on the construction at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
I have been taking a photo almost every day since October 30. I started from the same spot and began moving forward at about 20 steps every week until I reached the chain link fence. I have been zooming in slowly through the same spot in the fence since reaching the boundary.
These are not all of the pictures. The plan is to use all of them for a time-lapse video as the project nears completion.
These will do for now. As always, click the photo for a larger image.
UPDATE: Okay. Fixed. You may NOW click for a larger image. The photo uploading changed as part of the template change. Thanks to Tim for the heads up in the comments.
Regular posting will begin again on Monday. Until then, stay safe and think Spring!
Episode 12 is available.
We will start filming again after January 1 so this is the last episode of the new year.
However, I did get over to the site yesterday to take a few photos from the center field.
It is snowing today. No. Check that. It is a CLASS THREE KILLSTORM today. If it lets up by lunch, I may try to get over to the ballpark and take a photo or two to show how the project progressed in a CLASS THREE KILLSTORM! (Editor’s note: Classic Simpson’s quotes never get old.)
My usual cameraman was in Nashville getting sick and attending the Winter Meetings last week. So, they entrusted me with a camera to put together Renovation Update: Episode Eleven.
I was thinking of recreating the Joker Video from The Dark Knight. Common sense took over and I just took photos.
For some reason, the photo I most liked from last week did not make it into the video:
Perhaps if I had made it a black & white shot?
Here’s a sneak peak for next week’s episode:
This shot from the mound looked better on the camera phone:
Maybe in black & white?
We shot that episode before Thanksgiving and premiered it today.
As you can imagine, there has been a lot of work done since that time. We had another video shoot on Wednesday. The episode will be ready to air next week, but here are some photos of the latest work at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
Things are moving quickly at the stadium. Can’t wait to get back there next week.
Here’s Episode Eight:
These are some photos from areas that will be in Episode Nine*:
*-Episode Nine was shot yesterday, but won’t premier until the Thursday the 29th. There’s this thing called Thanksgiving that you humans celebrate.
Ever wanted to see me standing on a pile of rubble? That is how Renovation Update opens Episode Five:
Photos of stuff for next week’s episode:
